Andreu World wins again at Best of NeoCon 2018

Five hundred brands exhibited at NeoCon 2018 and those truly at the forefront of design receive Best of NeoCon awards. Andreu World was a resounding winner, once again, picking up four awards in 2018.

The Best of NeoCon awards recognise innovation, quality and attention to detail in contract furnishing Andreu World received Silver and Gold awards for the Flex armchair, Dado sofa, Reverse occasional table and Duos stool, which bring exceptional form and functionality to commercial environments.

 

Awarded Silver for conference seating, the Flex armchair designed by Piergiorgio Cazzaniga is a durable, comfortable and attractive solution. The stackable chair has an ergonomic thermo-polymer seat in a range of colours and upholstery options, as well as a wide range of accessories including writing tablets.

 

Jasper Morrison’s Duos bar stool series received a Gold Award. The adaptable and ergonomic series is robust and durable, while still maintaining its lightness of design and aesthetic appeal. Duos combines traditional and precise woodworking with an elaborate construction technique.

 

Reverse Occasional tables also received a Gold Award. This award-winning collection of tables has sculptural presence and great versatility that makes it suitable for commercial, residential and hospitality environments. The Reverse Occasional table is characterised by its cylindrical base and play on materials, textures, colours and forms. The base is made from 100-per-cent recyclable polyethylene available in six matte or high-gloss lacquered finishes. The tabletops include lacquered plywood, oak, ceramic, marble, high-pressure laminate, glass and solid surface. And standard shapes are square, elliptical and round. The table is available in two heights (450mm and 550mm) and custom tabletops can be requested.

 

Alfredo Häberli’s Dado series of modular sofas received a Silver Award. Dado is exceptionally comfortable seating solution with harmonious proportions, volumes, colours and subtle details. it can be easily and beautifully integrated into commercial spaces through various configurations of the individual pieces, which include corners, chaise lounge modules and footrests of different sizes and depths.

The Dado series also received a HiP Award from Interior Design magazine as the best sofa for workspaces, affirming its highly considered and resolved form and functionality.
