Flexible working in Colombia with Andreu World

Andreu World’s seating and table collections are known and loved for their versatility, comfort and elegance, and they feature in the new workplace of Grupo SURA in Medellín, Colombia. Designed by StudioSUR in alliance with AIA, Grupo SURA’s office is a sophisticated and timeless space that fosters flexibility and interaction, making Andreu World’s Raglan and Reverse collections a perfect choice.

Grupo SURA’s office opened in 2016 and spreads across three floors with a variety of open and private spaces to facilitate different ways of working, collaborating and socialising.

Raglan sofas, chairs and tables are used in the more formal areas - structured forms and clean lines complement the geometry of the building’s interior spaces.

The tones of the upholstery are also harmonious with the colour and material palette. The blue-grey sofas complement the carpet that evokes hand-woven fabric; the cream chairs blend with the neutral and natural-coloured finishes of the room, with the contrasting piping and frame evoking the shadow line at the base of the timber-veneer wall and the dark-coloured grouting between the tiles.

Raglan occasional tables are positioned between the chairs and in the centre of the setting, providing an elegant waiting area for clients and guests. The side and coffee tables have an aluminium base with marble top that complements the wall tiles. Each setting has artworks, lighting and floral arrangements to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Andreu World’s Reverse coffee tables feature in the more informal spaces, which are designed for collaboration and innovation. The sculptural base and circular tabletop echoes the halo-like pendant lights as well as the cylindrical seating.
