Step into a World of Design Indulgence

Our team recently returned from the Salone del Mobile in Milan, where we had the opportunity to encounter the latest furniture trends and designs. It was breathtaking to witness the creativity and craftsmanship of some of the world's most prestigious designers.

During our visit, we enjoyed meeting with our esteemed suppliers and designers, such as Patricia Urquiola, Eugeni Quitllet, Ramon Esteve and Pieorgiorgio Cazzaniga, who sent a special hello to Australia.

The designs were truly inspiring, and we are excited to share them with you.

During the Milan Design Week, Andreu World unveiled their new showroom, curated by renowned international designer Patricia Urquiola. The brand hosted their internationally recognized designers and creators. In the sequence of launch events, guests learnt about sustainable design and circular economy through the latest collections for Andreu World.

Taking ‘Bold Visions’ as its theme, Artifort launched two new sofa programs during Salone del Mobile in Milan: Track, by Norm Architects and Arris by Artifort Design Group. The furniture manufacture also introduced Moulin Lounge, a beautiful Mid-Century Modern icon from renowned designer Pierre Paulin.

With the 2023 novelties, Artifort underlines its expertise in creating artistic, timeless and comfortable high-quality furniture for homes, offices, hospitality and public spaces.

At the 61st edition of the Salone del Mobile, EMU showcased new products stemming from a development philosophy that constantly reinterprets the way the brand design and produce in a perfect combination of innovation and continuity. The brand also opened its brand-new Monomarca in the heart of Milan, where visitors experienced a sensation of being immersed in nature, evoked by the materials used.

An example of this is Cabla, designed by Lucidi-Pevere, a modular upholstered seating system, the new modular outdoor kitchen Emily, the new dining table solutions for residential and contract environments and the new Code seat aimed at street contracts.

Enea’s beautiful, strong, and sustainable designs come from inspiration from everyday life. At the Salone del Mobile 2023, in addition to some of Enea’s classic designs, like Caddy, and Puck, the latest designs from their new catalogue were also in the spotlight: Lore and Mate chair collections and the Taber and Tema tables.

The Mate stools, already presented at the latest edition of Orgatec, also travelled to Italy, along with the latest designs by Estudi Manel Molina that Enea has been working on for several months.

Expormim's participation at the 2023 Salone del Mobile was centred on its motto of embracing a new Mediterranean way of life that is greener, closer to nature, and good for people.

One of the highlights of Expormim's stand was the award-winning Talo collection by Altherr Désile Park, inspired by the natural beauty of rocky landscapes and balances geometry and nature with its colour palette of earthy shades like stone, slate, and terracotta.

Expormim also presented the Obi seating collection by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba, which pays tribute to Japanese culture by taking inspiration from the obi belt, a crucial element of the kimono garment. Alongside these collections, the brand showcased Lapala by Lievore Altherr Molina and Cask by Norm Architects, including a brand new outdoor version of the collection.

Materiality and controlled lights were the basis for the new LZF designs presented in Milan. Inspired by nature, the designs blend art with technology, creativity with functionality and beauty. A forest's cool, collected calm was transmitted at LZF's stand, designed by Mayice and Marivi Calvo.

The LZF collections from their first collaboration with Bodo Sperlein were also displayed at the Fuorisalone during Milan Design Week.

Sancal's 50th-anniversary celebration at Salone del Mobile 2023 paid tribute to its origins, reviving 70s interior design trends through immersive scenes. The era was known for creativity, experimentation, bold colours, expressive prints, and organic shapes.

At the event, Sancal showcased several innovative designs, including Bold, an XL table by Studiopepe that smoothly connects spaces with its fluid design. Also presented was the much-loved Tonella in its Maxi version and Raw Color's Wrinkled Link, blurring the lines between art and furniture in a practical yet artistic seat.

TUUCI, a prominent manufacturer of luxury outdoor shade structures, marked its 25th year of design and engineering innovation at Salone del Mobile. The brand showcased its unwavering focus on design and durability.

The products on display included the Ocean Master MEGA MAX Classic, which was introduced to the European market for the first time. With sizes of up to 7.3m and wind resistance for gusts up to 120 km per hour, the MEGA MAX parasol embodies marine-grade engineering and elegant design. Visitors also experienced the intelligent comfort of the Solanox cabana.

At this year's Salone, Vondom strongly emphasised sustainability with its new collections. The company has long prioritized eco-intelligence in its values, recognizing its responsibility to minimize its environmental impact.
