New and improved: The Tipo chair

The Tipo chair is already one of our bestsellers and we are very excited that it is now even better. Axona AICHI has developed a new mesh – and new colours – for the Tipo chair, continuing to up the ante on its sustainability, comfort and durability.

The new mesh is a tighter, smoother weave that creates a different feel and increases the already sensational comfort level. The tighter weave also provides comfort for a broader range of body shapes.

Tipo is still available in classic black, white and grey. It’s now also available in burgundy, deep blue, olive green and pebble, making it easy to add colour to an education or commercial environment.

Manufactured from 100-per-cent recycled and recyclable materials, the Tipo chair exemplifies axona AICHI’s commitment to producing high-end contract furniture that’s ultra-friendly to the planet.

The new mesh is knitted yarn made from used PET-bottles, while the resin molded frame and polypropylene seat are recycled material made using defective and waste matter from molding processes required for polypropylene products, such as food containers.

Tipo chair is GECA certified, which means it has been rigorously assessed and its life-cycle impact deemed safe for the environment and people’s health.

The Tipo chair is stackable and portable, making it a functional, convenient choice for meeting, conference and training rooms. It comes with a range of frame options, including a sled base, four legs or castors. It also can be customised with the option of a writing table or wing arms, and a 40-high stacking stool is also available.

For more information about the Tipo chair, book a meeting with the KE-ZU sales team and receive an exclusive Tipo bag ( as modelled above by Abbey). You can also drop by the KE-ZU showroom at Alexandria or view the product online here.
