With summer just around the corner we can’t wait to spend more time outside. These are five of KE-ZU’s favourite outdoor projects that have us dreaming of warm summer evenings and lazy days in the sun.

Home Ground, Adelaide Convention Centre

Home Ground is a relaxed family-friendly destination on Adelaide’s Riverbank with indoor and outdoor dining and stunning views of the river. Meet your friends or gather your family at Home Ground and enjoy a range of casual dining options in the comfort of an EMU Shine chair. Studio-Gram designed the café court with 150 modern and durable Shine chairs. The white frame with timber armrests is light and elegant and complements the concrete and timber tables.

Aloft Hotel, Perth

Aloft Hotel is a vibrant design-led destination with live music, sweeping views and fresh furniture by Vondom. The Spanish brand’s relaxed, fun and avant-garde Faz and Vela collections provide comfortable and versatile outdoor seating, while Ivy and Heaven are perfect for relaxing with a cocktail poolside.

Qantas Perth Regional Hub, Perth

Noxon Giffen designed the Qantas Perth Regional Hub for direct flights from Perth to London. In addition to customs, security and immigration, the Hub incorporates an inviting outdoor deck for international passengers to enjoy fresh air and sunshine before their long-haul flight. Passengers can chill out on Vondom’s cloud-like Pillow sunlounger, ottoman and chair, or the cubic Vela daybed and Ottoman.

Planar Restaurant at ICC Darling Harbour, Sydney

Planar Restaurant is a beautiful waterfront destination located in Sydney’s new International Convention Centre. The chic venue features lots of white and timber, including Expormim’s Out Line Chairs in indoor and outdoor dining areas. The Out Line collection is timeless and versatile with hand-woven seats and backrests that provide exceptional comfort while enjoying Planar’s impressive menu and cocktails.

Patina at Customs House, Brisbane

Patina, designed by Conrad Gargett with The University of Queensland, is a beautiful, modern and contemporary restaurant in Brisbane’s heritage-listed Customs House. Story Bridge and Brisbane River provide an iconic backdrop for dining on terrace, which features EMU’s Round Chairs. The black mesh complements the structure of the cantilevered Story Bridge, and the shell is gently curved to provide long-lasting comfort for diners.
