InDesign's platform at The Galleria space in Eveleigh for Sydney Indesign took the form of ‘The Podium’.  Designed by Geyer and The Initiative, the Podium was home to various in depth discussions and seminars as part of Habitus’ WorkLife series, a series of discussions focusing on the role of design in how we live at both home and work. KE-ZU was pleased to have installed some pieces to help make The Podium one of the most exciting hotspots on the SID agenda!  Throughout the days and nights of The Galleria, Vondom’s Adan stools, tables and vases, Vondom’s Vases Macetero and Enea’s Lottus high tables line the exterior of The Podium welcoming guests to the design hot spot. Excitingly, our sustainability guru Billi was asked to join a panel discussion hosted by GECA at the Podium of industry professionals on the topic of environmental sustainability and product specification – a very interesting topic and one which is of high importance to KE-ZU. Exciting topics were raised by the panel of Billi, Donna Jason of Direct Ergnomics, Michelle Kearney from InterStudio and Matt Williams from LendLease – all exploring the role played by third party certification and how it helps architects, specifiers and clients meet the Green Building Council of Australia’s Green Star requirements as well as other sustainability objectives and obstacles in our industry. With many of our products bearing international sustainability credentials, KE-ZU works tirelessly to quality test our product and have many certified by GECA.
