Taku Kumazawa designed the Gene collection for axona AICHI using 100% recycled materials. Gene is a light weight high density stacking chair collection with surprising comfort that is fully upholstered and can stack 40 high on a trolley. It is ideal for convention centres, meeting rooms, hospitality and event venues, offices or any space where change of layouts is required. Gene also maximizes vertical space, drastically shrinking the square-meter footprint required for storing inactive inventory.

Product details

All resin components for Gene chair are made from 100% recycled polypropylene pre-consumer waste by-products, and all parts are 100% recyclable. The simple construction enables disassembly for the recycling of each material type.

With the expanding slits perforated seat core provides light and comfortable seating. The flat top part of the back allows for easy handling. You can select the perfect match from plastic, upholstery, and veneer finish for all types of spaces.
