The Scientia Terrace project stands as a state-of-the-art social enterprise, sports, innovation, and science facility. Designed by Hayball, this impressive building showcases advanced learning technologies that both challenge and inspire students, incorporating specialized laboratories, a social enterprise and innovation hub, and a variety of flexible learning spaces.
Within this new building, a diverse range of learning environments caters to modern educational needs, from expansive, open laboratories to more intimate independent labs. These settings feature the Lottus stool from Enea, which perfectly complements the environment, facilitating contemporary collaborative learning.
Hayball also developed a 50-year master plan emphasizing the integration of learning technologies while meticulously preserving the site's rich heritage. The excellence of this project has been widely recognized, earning it the "New Building or Large Facility" award and the prestigious "Overall Winner Prize" at the Learning Environments Australasian Design Awards 2025.
