Designed by Oliver Hernaiz Architecture Lab (OHLAB), Puro is a 22-room boutique hotel located in Palma de Mallorca. Housed within different existing buildings, the refurbishment takes advantage of the complexity as a potential tool to generate unexpected and unique spaces where each room is different from the other.
The selection of natural and local materials emphasising the Mediterranean essence has been paramount to the project. The Hotel's interior is furnished with Sancal's Nido designed by Rafa Garcia. The seating, also referred to as the 'nest,' is upheld by a meticulously crafted frame made of ash wood or metal feet with a sleek black-matte finish. The upper section features 'branches' that securely hold the inviting seat in place
