Established in 2013 by Simon, the leading Spanish Lighting Manufacturer, Simon aims to produce different spaces via the clever use of light. Simon’s first collection – Slim and Flat – were created by high-profile Spanish designer Josep Llusca. The Slim collection comprises lighting that stands out for being technologically cutting-edge and for casting a super-powerful light. It also offers efficient ways to illuminate workplaces in a professional, appropriate fashion. A variation on Slim is the design Slim System, which is made up of light modules that help create a variety of architectural environments in a flexible, versatile way. Finally, Flat consists of minimalist, free-standing lights designed for workstations and desks suitable for all office environments. All these designs incorporate LED lights, which both save a lot of energy and are extremely low-maintenance. The Slim collection has already won the 2013 Silver Delta Award, and both the 2014 reddot award, and IF product Design Award. Simon’s newest collection – Cool – also picked up a 2014 reddot award. Cool is a revolutionary downlight system using LED technology to combine minimal glare with excellent light uniformity in a compact, low-profile design.
