NUDO OCCASIONAL TABLE
Nudo Occasional Table
The name of the collection, Nudo, refers to the knots found in wood in its natural state. The legs replicate the sinews of a tree-trunk, as if they were branches, thanks to painstaking lathing and carving. This is one of the Nudo tablesﾒ most characteristic features. Asymmetry is another hallmark. The asymmetry is generated by the various heights of the cross beams which structure the dining table, and by the three legs of the small round tables. The Nudo table collection is varied and versatile. The small tables, in natural or stained oak or marble, vary in height and top sizes. The lightness and wide variety of sizes and finishes enable the creation of interesting combinations, giving them alternative uses. The small table with a 38 diameter can also be used as a stool. The dining tableﾒs four sizes can be adapted to all kinds of spaces. The dining tables, with oak board top and 4 legs, come in the following sizes: 110x110, 105x160, 105x200 and 105x240. The legs are grouped in 2 sets, in an ﾓHﾔ shape with 2 legs and 1 beam each. Available finishes are stained or natural oak. Juan invites us to play with tones and create bi-colour combinations. In this manner, the upper beam with its two legs, can be set as one colour and the rest of the table another; or the top in one tone and the four legs in another. For the small tables with an oak board top, Juan recommends we instead retain a mono-colour finish; however, it is still possible to select one colour for the top and another for the legs. In the case of marble-topped tables, we can choose Carrara (white) or Marquina (black) marble.
