About the ProductFor the first time Christophe Pillet has designed a seat for the Classic line, in collaboration with the EMU Research Centre. Shot is the new design of seats for street contract seating. The tubular structure fits well with a stamped sheet metal seat and backrest. The backrest has a distinctive, perforated pattern, whereas the seat is particularly comfortable. However, the chair takes up minimal space; it matches various tables in the EMU collections and will fit into different environments. Up to 12 seats can be stacked together and it is available in various finishes.
The BrandMore about this Brand
EMU - Elettro Meccanica Umbra - was started in Italy in 1951 to produce military equipment; specifically radios. The founders of EMU, brothers Aldo and Angelo Biscarini, and Dante Menconi, stumbled on a process to plasticise the metal components of the radios to protect them from the weather.
