From Emu’s historic collaboration with the Chiaramonte/Marin firm comes Soft Ware, the first exclusive line of cushions and a highly original project within the company’s history. Just as how, in computer science, the hardware provides physical support for the creativity expressed through the software, so in outdoor furnishings, the “hardware” of Emu’s solid furniture now accommodates the lightness of its new Soft Ware.
Emu finally takes on the world of outdoor textiles with 22 different fabrics in the launch collection and three scatter cushion sizes with the same attention to quality that has always set apart its collections.
This gives rise to personalised fabrics in an extraordinary variety of hues, patterns, and textures that further enhance the furnishings by improving comfort and satisfying individual taste with limitless colour combinations.
The Soft Ware line is made exclusively in Italy with Italian materials of the highest quality and shows tremendous care in every detail: in the fabrics designed exclusively for Emu out of acrylic dyed en masse with excellent resistance to the sun and the elements for an outdoor experience free of limitations; in the soft, resilient padding that conforms to the user’s contours but immediately resumes its original form; and in the zippers concealed within eco-leather details that hide the sliders.
The solid colour choices draw inspiration and take their names from natural stones while the range of unique patterns in geometric, floral, and striped motifs on double-faced jacquard give the products a new distinction.
Every cushion in the Soft Ware line comes in custom take-away packaging that allows the product to be easily arranged in shop displays as well as carried and stored.
