Prior to designing Zarina, William Sawaya studied Andreu World to understand its philosophy. He immediately concluded that any wooden product must use the full technology of the company to make the wood look as modern as any contemporary material. The result, Zarina, a collection characterised by the large oval backrest. It combines high durability with notably light looks and its simple, natural elegance is also reminiscent of classical shapes. This solid beech chair with upholstered seat and open back is also available with upholstered and wicker backrests.
