'My palette of materials consists of rattan, buri, kawayan and abaca. Each has their own texture, colour, smell and sound. You can bend, twist and weave them in endless ways. It is a feast of the senses to work with these.' Kenneth Cobonpue

The Lulu is made of hundreds of hand woven coconut leaf cores (buri). These are individually tied with abaca rope and tied down by translucent nylon wires over a hand sculpted frame of light steel.

Lulu club chairs are featured in the movie Couples Retreat starring Vince Vaughan.
