HALO is a collection of lights designed by Kenneth Cobonpue for suspension or floor use.
Hand woven translucent nylon strings on a light frame of wire give a soft, heavenly glow when lit.
This disc-like suspension model is slightly larger than it's floor version and floats ethereally on two cables, featuring an exposed bulb.
The weaving skills used are old fashioned and labour intensive, ensuring a high quality result as well as an interesting juxtaposition of old skills in a contemporary design.
The HALO has become an iconic luminaire and can be seen in the Sam Satay installation as well as Sydney Rowing Club and Castle Hill RSL as well as numerous residential and commercial developments.
Halo of course is deigned by Filipino style guru, Kenneth Cobonpue.
