About the ProductArtifort is proud of its history, which is why we are bringing back Pierre Paulinﾒs F564 and C565 in 2014. We have called them ﾑNestﾒ. It is a well-loved design from a previous Artifort collection, with beautiful flowing lines and offering great sitting comfort. It is a little retro and very charming, soft, and friendly. The Nest is a direct relation of the Mushroom and has the same structure, a steel frame covered with cut foam, Dacron, and upholstery made of stretchy fabric with a minimum number of straight-stitched seams.
The BrandMore about this Brand
Good design (ars) and durability (fortis) come together in Artifort, a manufacturer of some of the world’s most epochal furniture. Upholsterer Jules Wagermans founded the company in Maastricht in 1890. Following World War II, Artifort shed its traditional roots to embrace the modern movement under the guidance of interior/furniture designer Kho Liang le. Collaborations with the likes of Theo Ruth (Congo chair), and Gerrit Rietveld, cemented Artifort’s reputation with architects and design lovers as a manufacturer at the cutting edge of design.
